Function: Delivery System allows you to view digital
entities and navigate within their manifestations.
Use:
From this view, the you can navigate within a set of manifestations in
several possible ways.
- To view a single object, click the
button.
- To view several manifestations of the same object side by side,
click the
button .
- To view associated metadata, click the title link of an object.
- To save a metadata record with a link to an object, click the disk
button.
- To send a metadata record with a link to an object via e-mail, click the letter
button.
- To add specific records to your e-Shelf, click the cart
button.
These records can be accessed from My Space.
Note: Once a record has been added to the e-Shelf, the
new cart button related to that record will
represent this addition and be dimmed as long as the record remains in
your e-Shelf.
- To print associated object/s, click the printer
button .

A simple image contains the following options:
- Zoom the image preview by clicking the Zoom In
or Zoom Out
buttons.
- Navigate by clicking the Left
, Right
, Up and Down arrow
buttons.
- Navigate by clicking anywhere within an image, clicking the Zoom Out
button, then clicking again to recenter the display. A
JPEG2000 image can be displayed in thumbnail and in full view and it
contains the following options:
- Zoom the image preview by clicking the Zoom In
or Zoom Out
buttons.
- Navigate by clicking the Left
, Right
, Up and Down arrow
buttons.
- Navigate by clicking anywhere within an image, clicking the Zoom Out
button, then clicking again to recenter the display.
Multi-page viewer:
This viewer is designed for viewing
compound or multi-page documents in METS format. The Multi-page viewer is
similar to the simple object viewer with some additional features related
to multi-page documents:
- Browse a book, using the linkable structural map defined in the METS
file.
- Move to the next/previous page using the relevant arrows.
- Move to the first/last page using the relevant arrows.
- View two pages side by side by clicking the
button.
EAD viewer:
The EAD viewer lets you view EAD (Encoded Archival
Description) XML objects. The viewer converts the EAD XML object into HTML
and allows you to browse the EAD hierarchical levels.
The EAD
viewer contains a clickable table of contents in the left pane and a full
text display in the right pane. From this view, you can search the text by
clicking the Find Next button. |
